CULTIVATING OUR FUTURE
CHANGE Festival is an environmental arts organisation that inspires cultural shifts through stories and gatherings.
Led by artists and creative directors Becky Burchell and Sophie Austin, CHANGE Festival creates work in multiple artforms and locations, from festivals in renowned arts centres to rituals in rural villages.
Through films, stories, plays, music, talks, walks, gatherings and more, we invite you to be part of the cultural changes that are inspiring a regenerative future.
We collaborate with fellow artists, communities, organisations, environmentalists, activists and - most importantly - nature.
We are nurturing a community of creative folk who cultivate art experiences that are transformational, political, authentic, subversive and inspirational.
We reject the use of the arts as yet another engine for capitalism.
We are emergent, evolving, curious, inclusive and innovative.
We practice hopeism over doomism.
We choose joy over despair.
We are a continual festival of CHANGE.
This beautiful film was created by the artists, leaders, visionaries, collaborators and communities who gathered at CHANGE Festival 2021 at Warwick Arts Centre, featuring highlights and reflections from the weekend. The wisdom, insights, joy and inspiration is shared by:
