Morris dancing has been seen as a dated pastime,  but the tradition is undergoing a radical change, with an influx of female sides transforming its male membership. All female morris dancing side Boss Morris is inviting you to join them to discover the delights of this land inspired folk dance through this energetic workshop.  Boss’s style pulls on ancient customs and traditional dances but gives them a modern twist with their striking attire, feisty attitude and playful choreography.  Folk dance has long been connected with our seasons and the natural world, and through this workshop you will get a chance to feel for yourself how morris moves can be a force for the future!

About Boss Morris
Boss Morris sprang up out of the five valleys of Stroud, Gloucestershire in 2015. The twelve-strong group of dancers now regularly hops and performs across the UK with their unique take on England's traditional folk dance.
