Folk Song Nature Walk with Sam Lee

Sam Lee.jpg

Take a walk on the wild side…

Award winning folk artist Sam Lee will lead a 3 mile, wild walk through woods, fields and paths less trodden, between Warwick Arts Centre and The Pod's bountiful Food Union allotment site. Along the way, his glorious songs will tell forgotten stories about the wonder of the natural world that envelopes us, even in the heart of Coventry.

Sam Lee is a Mercury Prize nominated folk singer, song collector, award winning promoter, broadcaster, animateur and naturalist. With two albums already under his belt, Sam’s third and much anticipated album is coming out in January 2020.

This walk will start at Warwick Arts Centre (meeting in the Woods Scawen Room at 1.45pm) and will end at the Pod Allotments in CV5 following a three mile walk. Participants need to wear sturdy walking shoes suitable for uneven terrain. This walk will require a reasonable level of fitness as you will be on your feet for the duration of the walk.
