For those who have big questions about the world.
Why are we here? What does it mean to be alive together at this moment? And how can we be fully present to all that is being asked of us and offered to us? Not as a ‘rational human’; a faceless consumer, trained to generate wealth and productivity. But as a sensual, complex, feeling being, who has a loving role in the rich ecosystem of Earth.
In this discussion we will explore ways we can rise up to reawaken our understanding of our own presence, reawaken our bodies and our senses, reawaken our emotions and feelings that have been dulled and denied, and reawaken our intrinsic, loving instincts. When we step aside from the cascade of news feeds, data and social media, we can learn to follow the patterns of nature, practice noticing more, and deliberating less. We can begin to rest our nervous systems from the onslaught of modern life and find a different way of being in the world that gives us deeper meaning and contentment. How will this greater presence shift our perspectives on our lives and our futures?
This discussion has been especially curated for CHANGE Festival. Speakers include Tamsin Omond, Chris Salisbury and Zoe Palmer with Amisha Ghadiali as host.
